Shout out to my peeps!!

well I just noticed its been a while since I last posted. Busy, busy, busy.

I went to an ear specialist and after some tests he set me up for some blood tests so I can get a ct scan. I had also gone to my family Dr and she set me up for some blood tests so she could do a complete physical. When I went to get the tests done I had lost the one form for the ear Dr so I couldn't get all the tests needed done. I have since found the form and now I need to go get the tests done but need to find out if I need to fast again.

On the job front I haven't been told officially if I got the photo lab job or not. I did have to have an interview for it then when the budget comes in (yesterday) he has to get permission from the store manager to take me from the other department. The lab manager said that he wants me so its up to the store manager. I haven't been in since Sunday and the manager wasn't in on the weekend so I couldn't suck up for the job. I'm not in till Friday but if I get a chance I might pop by the old store to see if there is any news.

At Vic Truss I talked to the owners brother and the manager and I feel a little better about the job there. Today the owner called me into the office and apologized for being so busy he never had time to talk to me. All three have told me how much they want me to stay and the owner is looking into giving me another raise. He also mentioned that he was thinking about using me for the foreman on afternoon shift when it comes available. Only problem is I really don't like the afternoon shift because I don't get to see enough of Patty. It really doesn't look like the property manager is going to give me a shot at the landlord job here. Would have been nice because I would have had a lot of time for my photography. A part of me has given up on it but part of me still wishes I had a chance at it. The guy is an ass because he doesn't return calls or emails and the last time I talked to him he told me next time hes down this way he will talk to me. Twice last week he was around but I never heard a thing.

Yesterday was my first full day off in a long time so I went to Nanaimo and stopped by Atlas Truss. I managed to avoid Riley and talked to a few people I knew from there. The owner was in a meeting so I never got a chance to see him. I stopped by the football office and talked to the coach and Bob Oh and then saw Scott my photographer friend . We had a nice chat and I asked him a favour. He is going to lease to buy a lens I want and I will pay him monthly. It's a professional lens 70 - 200 f2.8 which is great for sports and nature in low light. It's the same as he has lent me a few times over the last 2 years. My credit sucks and I can't get it on my own.

I got my first birthday present for this year. My aunt Irene is an artist and she made me a mosaic table with 2 wolves howling at the moon. Then today she dropped off a wolf picture that she drew for me. Once it was finished she said she just couldn't hang onto it till June but she told me she still has a little something for me on my birthday.




Well the TV is all paid for so now I start saving for our trip to Ontario in July. I still have to go get measured for my tux. Will probably have my hours at Wally's cut back in the summer after everything is paid off.

A week this Friday is Adam and Mary's wedding. Looking forward to going to Tofino for the weekend. Hopefully the weather will co - operate. The weather has been fine here. Yesterday the temp was 14 and the Daffodil's have been in bloom for about 3 or 4 weeks. We did get snow 2 weeks ago on Friday but it was gone that day or the next depending on where you were. At work we had at least 4 inches by 9am so they sent us home. When I got home we had a few patches here and there but it was pretty nice outside.

Just want to apologize to Annette and Terry as I've been so busy 7 days a week we haven't chatted in a while. Hope this has got you caught up on my end anyways. Will talk to you both soon. Time to go bug the wife.
