update on dad

Yesturday afternoon Joe dropped Dad, Jean, and myself at the cancer clinic. Well dad and Jean the first trip because they forgot dad's health card and Joe took me back home for it. They took dad in right away so the first session was in progress when I got there. There were 2 nurses going over all of dad's pills and asking him questions. After they had what they thought they needed they went to talk to the Dr and said they would be back with the Dr in a while. After what seened like forever they came in with the Dr to discuss what they wanted to do. They are taking him off 2 of his pills and trying 2 different ones to try and get rid of the nausea. Then he has to go back in 2 weeks.

We left there and went to the clinic where they take blood. Joe had decided to join us. That didn't take too long but while we were waiting dad said something about the Dr being cute and wearing a thin dress. Believe me it wasn't thin because I would have noticed and would have mentioned it being the gentleman I am. But it was real short. I mean real short, and she was cute and had a Boston accent. She also had a big rock on her left hand. I think I'll go back with dad in 2 weeks only because he needs me.

Next we went to see the cancer or chemo Dr and we waited forever and a day. Then we were taken to a private room where we waited forever again. The chemo Dr that is taking over for the one that had the baby is a nice young man. He basicaly told dad that for now they would keep him off the chemo because he wasn't strong enough for it and that they could call him at any time they might need him. If he gets stronger and decides he wants chemo again then they would schedule him for that. Dad said he would like proof that it would be better this time. Dad came home had a bit of soup thern rested till bed time. Thats about it for the update now I'm going upstairs to sit with dad while Jean and Joan go to a funeral for a friend who died suddenly on the weekend.

Thats good of you going to support your dad Kev. And I'm sure the beautiful nurse has nothing to do with it. I will still talk to that guy about the rest of the games.

Last time I bought one of those seats it did feel nice but the very next day someone stole my bike. Guess they were waiting for the new seat too.
