Cory (The Hatchet) Gower

This weekend Cory Gower is going to be in his second pro MMA fight. The AFC is on Vancouver Island and they are a organization that is getting recognized for top class fights and promotions. Cory is fighting out of a new gym in Duncan called M.E.T. or McVittie's Elite Training! Last night a pro fighter from Duncan who has had a couple fights in the UFC was in the gym giving some pointers on some moves. John Alessio has won 30 fights so far in his career and the UFC is calling him again. John is under contract for a fight or two with another organization and should he win those fights his stock will go up big time and the UFC will want him even more.

Tonight the weigh ins are happening in Langford and I will be there with my camera in hand and then tomorrow I will be ring side taking photos of all the fights. Cory is looking good and should kick ass tomorrow. Kevin has sold tickets to a bunch of guys where he works and many who are members of the gym are heading down to watch
